From the Practice
Consona Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics Is Now Open in Delafield

If you've been searching for board-certified plastic surgery closer to home, you no longer have to look toward Milwaukee. Consona Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics is now open in Delafield, and it was built specifically for patients in Lake Country and the greater Milwaukee area who want care that is precise, personal, and worth the drive — or, in this case, worth not having to make one at all.
Here's what to know about the practice, the surgeon, and what makes Consona different.
Who Is Dr. Lucas Boehm?
Dr. Lucas Boehm is a Wisconsin native, board-certified plastic surgeon, and the founder of Consona. He trained at the Medical College of Wisconsin for both his medical degree and plastic surgery residency — the kind of comprehensive foundation that a practice like this requires. After residency, he completed an ASAPS-endorsed aesthetic surgery fellowship under Dr. Bradley Calobrace in Louisville, Kentucky, an internationally recognized leader in aesthetic surgery and one of the few surgeons in the country whose fellowship carries that endorsement.
He came back to Wisconsin to practice the craft he trained for in the community he grew up in. That was always the plan.
His credentials: board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, fellow of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and author of fifteen peer-reviewed publications in journals including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery. His areas of particular focus are deep plane facelifts, rhinoplasty, and aesthetic breast surgery — procedures that require both technical precision and a careful eye for proportion.
What Procedures Does Consona Offer?
Consona is dedicated exclusively to aesthetic surgery, with no general plastic surgery and no reconstructive-only cases. Every procedure is performed personally by Dr. Boehm across four areas.
Face
Facial surgery at Consona centers on the deep plane technique, which repositions the underlying tissues rather than pulling skin. The result reads as rested and natural rather than altered.
- Facelift
- Neck Lift
- Brow Lift
- Rhinoplasty
- Revision Rhinoplasty
- Eyelid Surgery
- Ear Surgery
- Facial Fat Grafting
- Chin Augmentation
Breast
Breast surgery at Consona starts from proportion, not a number on an implant box. The plan is built around how the result will look and feel over time, not just at the six-week mark.

- Breast Lift with Implants
- Fat Transfer Breast Augmentation
- Breast Reduction
- Breast Revision
- Breast Implant Removal
- Preservé Breast Enhancement

Body
Body procedures at Consona address proportion after pregnancy, weight loss, or the gradual changes that come with time. The approach starts with structure — whether the abdominal wall needs repair, whether skin needs removal, whether contour alone is the answer.
- Tummy Tuck
- Mommy Makeover
- Liposuction
- Brazilian Butt Lift
- Arm Lift
- Labiaplasty
- Scar Revision
- Body Contouring After Weight Loss
- Fat Transfer
Non-Surgical
For patients who want to complement their surgical results or maintain them over time, Consona offers a focused non-surgical menu. Every plan emphasizes restraint — the right treatment, in the right amount, for the right reason.
- Botox
- Injectable Dermal Fillers
- Biostimulators (Sculptra, Radiesse)
Non-surgical plans are led personally by Dr. Boehm or by a clinician under his direct oversight. The same standard of care applies whether you're having surgery or not.
What Does "Beauty in Balance" Actually Mean?
It means the goal is never transformation. It's alignment.
The name Consona comes from the Latin consonare, to sound together, in harmony. That word choice was intentional. Dr. Boehm's approach is built around refining what already exists, not replacing it. The most satisfying outcomes, in his view, are the ones that feel inevitable: less a reconstruction, more the truest version of you.
That philosophy shows up in how he consults. He takes longer than patients expect, because the conversation is where the surgical plan actually begins. It shows up in how he recommends: he will suggest a quieter plan if it holds up better, and he will recommend nothing at all if surgery isn't the right answer.
What Can You Expect From a Consultation?
Consultations at Consona are in person, in Delafield, and never rushed. Dr. Boehm will examine, walk you through the relevant approach in plain language, and build a plan only if it fits your anatomy, your goals, and how you want to look five years from now — not just five months.
Financing is available through CareCredit (up to 24-month plans) and PatientFi (0% APR available for qualified applicants), so cost doesn't have to be the reason you wait.
