Dr. Boehm grew up in Wisconsin and completed his undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin–Madison before earning his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin. His plastic surgery residency – also at the Medical College of Wisconsin – provided comprehensive training across the full spectrum of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, the depth a practice like Consona requires.
After residency, he pursued an ASAPS-endorsed fellowship in aesthetic surgery under the mentorship of Dr. Bradley Calobrace in Louisville, Kentucky – a year dedicated entirely to advanced aesthetic technique. He then came home to Wisconsin and opened his own practice in Delafield.

Dr. Boehm has authored fifteen peer-reviewed publications in journals including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery – the literature that shapes how this specialty is taught and practiced.
His fellowship in aesthetic surgery was endorsed by The Aesthetic Society, one of only a handful of programs in the country to carry that recognition.
