Surgical hair restoration moves your own follicles, one at a time, from the back of the scalp to the hairline and crown. Dr. Boehm plans the hairline and the graft count, then performs the extraction and placement himself.

A hairline is designed for the face it sits on and the decades still ahead of it, not for a photograph taken the week after surgery. The donor area is finite, so the plan spends grafts where they change how the whole head reads and leaves room for what age will do next. When the honest answer is medication or PRP first, that is the answer given.
