Dr. Boehm founded Consona to build a practice dedicated entirely to aesthetic surgery, where every patient is met with the same level of care, attention, and intention that defined his training. The name comes from the Latin "consonare" – to sound together, in harmony – and it reflects what he looks for in every consultation: a result that feels in tune with who you already are, not a departure from it.

He trained at the Medical College of Wisconsin for both medical school and plastic surgery residency, where he received comprehensive training across the full spectrum of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. After residency, he pursued an ASAPS-endorsed aesthetic surgery fellowship under Dr. Bradley Calobrace in Louisville, Kentucky – one year focused entirely on advanced aesthetic technique. Returning to Wisconsin to practice the craft he trained for, in the community he grew up in, was always the plan.

The most satisfying outcomes in plastic surgery are the ones that feel inevitable – as if the result was always the natural version of you, not a reconstruction. That belief shapes how Dr. Boehm plans, how he operates, and how he follows up. He takes time during the consultation, often longer than patients expect, because the conversation is where the surgical plan actually begins. Once the goal is agreed on, the operating room is where he brings the precision and discipline that aesthetic surgery demands.
